73 RS replica w/ a 3.6 varioram. And do it in one of those blues you like.

how much you figure a project like that costs (on average) if done well... to top standards.... or put differently, when such a car comes up for sale, what are typical prices? my guess would be $60-70k and up...?

I agree.

Jonathan: Marc aka Rattlsnak built a stunning RSR replica with a 3.6 which IIRC weighed in at 2100 lbs. He had it advertised for sub $40k but don't know what he sold it for.

it might even be cheaper to change the color of my gt2 to riviera blue? but the car is flawless

Yikes!! I wouldn't do that if I were you. If you want a change of color, I would buy a "normal" car. Kinda of like you did with the C4S and even it has a better value then a normal C2.

Please build a 74 RSR replica. Since I'm essentially a poor bloke, I can learn from your problems and avoid them myself when I finally work up the courage to start on my own.
