Currently have a Gt3 seat - hips and waist fit perfectly, but it's a little tight across the lats/mid back. I've tried a bunch of Sparcos, but nothing fits any better. I can't seem to find a local Recarco dealer that has anything in stock to test.

Anyone have some feedback on the Pole Position? Sounds like it basically fits the same as a Gt3 seat, but anyone have some personal experience?

As an added benefit, I think it would be a better 'fit' for appearance in the 993 compared to the Gt3 seat.

I have the Pole Position and have ridden in a car with the GT3 and I think you'll find the Pole Position even tighter than the GT3. The Recaro PROFI SPG is available in XL (35 mm wider than standard size) that may work better for you.

I had a pole position installed and found it to be slightly tighter around the hips and much tighter around the shoulders. I also had a problem where the harness holes were too low for me even with the seat cushions removed. I am 6'2" and was very uncomfortable in the shoulders with that seat.

gt3 seats are heaven by comparison.

I have a brand new Recaro SPG XL seat for sale.

Never installed - I sat in it for 5 minutes and realized it was too big so I am selling (I am 6' 1" and 170 lbs).

Dimensionally the pole position, GT3, 964 RS seats are all the same except for the head. I tried the pole position and found I fit the same as my GT3 seats. If you need more room I would go with the XL's. I used the gT3 seats because they are one of the few seats that allow both my wife and myself to use the harnesses and meet the new requirements.
