I believe the factory supercup wheels were all magnesium, very light but expensive and easily damaged.
If these are factory wheels, they would be worth the money he is asking, even with the exchange rate.

All very confusing I don't know what he has there...clubsport wheels were 8" front x 10" rear...alloy not mag centres.
Cup car speedlines were 8.5" fronts and centre lock fitment
The few genuine RSR's I have seen have been on BBS mag racing wheels
Gt2 had magnesium centres on their speedlines, 9" front and 11" rear
Never seen magnesium bolt on 8 & 10" speedlines before?????

Can anyone confirm these are either RS or RS Cup factory wheels - I'm seriously interested, but the offset and size doesn't seem right.

David the size and offset stated are correct for standard 993RS sizes.
genuine "alloy" centre part nos were; fr 993 362 136 81, rear 993 362 140 81
As stated above they are certainly not standard clubsport fitment as these were identical to regular RS (I have owned both).
Factory cup wheels did have the mag centres, fronts were 8.5 not 8" and the bolt holes were solid in the casting, these can be drilled out, but still doesn't expalin why they are 8" front unless wheels were rebuilt with RS rims? ....Part number doesn't show up on PET, maybe someone has a cup car technical bulletin to see if they feature on that?
My best guess and I may be totally wrong is that they are standard alloy centres and there is some confusion in the listing, doesn't explain the diffferent part number though? Maybe very rare factory option part?
I personally wouldn't be over excited as I have seen a few examples of cracked magnesium speedline centres on Gt2, most of the owners switch to BBS...For road use I reaaly would prefer the stronger alloy centred speedline.

Factory Cup Wheels are Center lock Speedline wheels 8.5Jx18 front, 10Jx18 rear, magnesium center with centerlock hub washers. I have three sets and protect them like a child. There is no longer a Speedline dealer in the US so we have had to do all of the maintenance on them. The parts are very hard if not impossible to find, espically the fasteners. I've seen a set go for as much as $6000 and up.
