Default How does inner window seal fit?

Hey Guys -- I'm planning on putting a lexan windshield, 1/4" (same thickness as stock one I believe) on 993 race car. Was planning on using stock inner seal and just holding window down with tabs and on the outside and little rtv. Problem is, I got the inner seal and can not figure out how it fits (got car with no windshield in it). I've played around with it for a while but can not figure out how to make it work such that 1/4" windshield would be flush with window frame on outside.

below is cross section view of this thing. can someone explain how it fits?
