I have hollow spoke turbo twists......been using wheel wax for years......works great nothing sticks to the rims.....I easily clean the rims throughout with mild soap/warm water and a sponge.....even works well on my painted calipers.......the finish/luster on the rims continue to like like new.....

if you have a polished wheel just use the basic.

let the wheels cool down
spray simple green wait for at least 30 sec
rinse
then after soaping the entire car. soap your wheels .
rinse
dry.

been doing the same technique for 10 years now.
