Default Help: Strange Remote Lock Gremlin

Since I've owned my car, it has flashed the lights twice when I lock it with the remote. Today, it flashed and tooted the horn.
Anyone had this happen to them?
Why???
How can I get it to go back to the two flashes?
TIA

Horn toot usually means a door is open. It is an audible warning to let you know all are not closed. Possibly a bad door switch.

Oops, I meant to include that under "all doors".

Thanks, all. I went out to the car - all doors appeared fully closed. I unlocked the car, and opened and closed all the doors (& trunk) again -- no toot.

Any bright ideas about how to tell whether a switch is bad or just got stuck?

Make sure your glove box and front compartment lights really go out when they're closed. You can test the door switches with your finger tips to see if they switch the interior lights on and off as they should.
