Directions to WP Village from I-4 is take the Lee Road exit east. (about 5 miles north of downtown Orlando) Lee road will dead end at 17-92 about 1.4 miles East (Orlando Ave), turn right (south) and WP village will be on the left after the first light. Thats Webster Ave I believe. There is a Volvo dealer on the left at the corner.

Well, the car is back but we have some friends down looking at a house at 11:30, and a wedding to get ready for so this may have to wait until next time. Still working out the details. If anyone is up for meeting earlier(say 9am) shoot me a PM

 

For what it is worth, I am a forum administrator for the CFE group and have been to every CFE meet so far. So here are some details that will hopefully answer most questions that have been posed...

CFE, headed up by Dwight, has been getting together officially since February '07 (started out in Lake Mary). CFExotics meets every month, the last Saturday of the month, at the Winter Park Village (17-92 & Fairbanks) in front of the Borders Book Store (between Borders and PF Changs). The location was scoped out to have ample parking space, access to coffee in Borders, plus overlooks 17-92 to attract any exotic owners that happen to pass by.

This is not a snobby group, so anyone that is an automobile enthusiast is welcome to attend. It is nice if "exotic" cars are displayed (there are always plenty) as we don't want to attract the wreckless street racer crowd.

The next CFE meet is Saturday, June 30 @ 10 am. It does not cost anything to join CFExotics.

The CFE group has also been invited to attend an event hosted by the CF NSX/S2000 group on July 22. A contingency of these folks were at the last CFE meet in May and were very nice guys with a passion for cars (they brought out 8 nice NSXs).

I recognize some Rennlisters as CFE members, so if I haven't answered everyone's question please reply to this post or feel free to PM me.

 

Unfortunately, I wont be able to make this event. First, due to prior engagements, and second...the car is having surgery (getting the sunroof removed.) I hope to make the next one.

 

Im gonna see if I can get 3 cars their , 968, 911e and new 66 911 if they finish with the carbs today...then I gotta get on a plane at 2pm to cal so...its a squeeze but I want to meet some of you characters

 

i will bring 2 so at least we will have 5 there. My GF thinks she should drive the cab.
