Default What is wrong with this car?

I have seen this car pop up and not sell time and again on Ebay. Is it a Turbo? it looks like it has the intercooler. I think the mods are very nice. So why is it not selling? I am curious.

that looks like a decent deal and easily de-pimped if you wanted(The bumpers interesting, the wing's a little much). looks like a decent deal w/o any knowledge of history/condition.....maybe something ugly hiding there?

I wouldn’t buy a car that’s been messed with...don’t fix something that’s not broken....

That would preclude approximately 75% of the cars on The Rennlist!

What is the little box sticking out from under the intercooler? This car has been seriously played with.

There you go, there is always a reason. I guess he was stuck in reverse?

Messed with is one thing. This car has had odometer rollback according to 993c2cab.

As far as "messed with" cars, pretty much every 993 you see on this board has been messed with to a capacity. Some for track, some for looks, all for the taste of the owner. This place is the home of the slipper slope where cars slide down broken or not.

Now for the car in question here, I do not like the front bumper or tail and it seems to have suspect history- those (besides not having the extra dough) are my reasons I won't buy it.

That's for a laser/radar detector. One of our customers w/ an Andial 3.8tt has the exact same box in the exact same place. Kind of annoying though I'll have to move it anytime I'm working in there now, and the jackasses who put it in probably used standard sized screws to hold it in . . . . :-)
