Question Motorsound?

Well here I go again. What do you guys think of this option. I have not heard one yet,is it subjectively worth seeking that option? Or can one recreate it easily enough aftermarket ? I am assuming it effects the cars exhaust or air intake to create a more aggressive sound? Thanks in advance Ryan

It's a drilled airbox which makes things louder. Mine has it, and it sounds nice. Dunno how much better it is over a stock system, but it's cheap and easy. Do a seach, and you'll find everything you need to roll your own.

Hello Ryan, The Motorsound Option has a very nice sound, IMHO. It consists of "sport" mufflers, drilled airbox with a chrome inlet piece and chrome exhaust tips. It would be worth seeking the option to those of us that desire to stay strictly "stock".
You can recreate/improve the sound by simply drilling your air box cover and adding a set of Robin Sun's RSR mufflers. This is what I did and I am very satisfied.

Quite a few threads have been dedicated to this subject. A search for Motorsound may give you different opinions.

Airbox cover, muffler and tips are different. No performance increase, but it sounds better. Get a MS cover ($85) and do an LPMM ($60) and you're set.

Pull your airbox cover, flip it over and you'll find the motorsound box template faintly outlined. Drill those holes and your half way to the sound. Next will be muffs or cat by pass pipes to make what muffs you have.......sing
