Default "Nice car. Is that a new one?"

Somebody asked me that yesterday.

The 993 is not only a classic, it's timeless.

Easily the best lines of the 911 series .

I actually have my eyes set on getting a 993 in the near future...I just have to work out having the money for maintenance.

Whenever I drove into valet in a hotel or fine restaurant, my car always stays in the front row!

Thanks to the 997, I get it MUCH more than I used to.

them - "Oh, is that the new one? I really like what they've done with the 911's"?

me - "Uh, no, but thanks. It's 11 years old."

them - "Wow, really? 11 years old? You really keep it up!"

me - "Yeah, I have to. I'm an obsessive, compulsive personality type when it comes to this car "

them - "Guess I would be too if I owned it - that thing is sweeet."

Usually I dont drive my 993 in the city. She is always reserved for "back road" fun. Yesterday I had a very cool day thanks to Louis and I ended up driving 2 C4S's plus my car around the city
I noticed for the first time the amount of attention a 993 gets! Heads literally twisting, fingers pointing, people drooling... It seems also that its color driven with the black C4S and my arrest me red cabrio getting the most attention... The silver color seems the more stealthy although she turned a few heads as well.
I must say it was a good day yesterday

Agree. Sometimes I'm actually concerned that, as my daily driver, I don't appreciate it enough...take it for granted. I'm actually hoping to buy a truck/suv in a year or two so she can go into "2nd car" status.

They really are good looking cars. As is the 964.

Well then, I believe it to be in your best interest - health wise - to get out of that GT3 suspension and into a "stock" carrera!!

Got the same comment in the gym's parking lot when I was uncovering it one day. Great feeling.
