Default I had the RoW M030 suspension pkg installed today

Don Jackson (D.J. & John) Porsche in Phoenix installed my Gert provided RoW M030 + Bilstein HDs package today along with the FPB. They lowered it about 1.25" , so I can still get in and out of my steep driveway without ripping offf the front factory aero nose.
The difference in ride quality and handling are night and day compared to the stock US setup it came with. It got a good 150 mile test coming back up to Flagstaff earlier tonight.
D.J. and John went through the entire 15,000 mile car for me and recommended besides oil: transmission, brake fluid, spark plugs and filters.
It was a great one stop two day visit with Don Jackson's shop.
Now the car is ready to get some serious miles put on it this summer.
I attached a few photos of the finished product.

Sweet! I just went through the same set up.

Suggestion, get a Gert Protection Bar. Trust me, that will go through you mind ever time you rub the bottom which will happen with lowering.

I had the Gert FPB installed with the suspension package.
Thanks for the thought though.

Great looking ride and as you stated, the handling difference is night and day. On the subject of tire pressure, you may want to drop them below the factory specs (I believe these are 38/44) which will increase compliance. Mine are at 31/35.

Very Nice. Your 993 really looks great with the lowered suspension, I bet that it is tough to concentrate on anything else except re-testing the suspension set-up!

Were you charged a flat rate for the install or were you billed by the hour? I have a quote for installing the same items as you and I was quoted a flat rate of $1050.00 + alignment. I think the shop bills at $105.00 per hour so that equates to 10 hours for the install.

Thanks for the photos!
John

Looks great! Polar Silver is such a great color...

Does DJ & John have corner scales? I am still looking for a good shop to align and balance my car, preferably with experience setting the KT on cars at RS height.

Cheers, Mark.

Just out of curiousity, what did you lower it to? ROW, ROW Sport, RS, somewhere in between?

Mark:
Silver is a funny color.
The car is actually Artic Silver, but the late afternoon lighting turned it a shade of silver blue.
I don't believe Don Jackson have corner scales for balancing, but they could refer you to someone who does. D.J.'s phone number is 602-997-2785.

Good question!
I called the installer and he said they lowered the car to the ROW Standard setting of a little more than 20mm . It is probably closer to 1" than 1 1/4" as I stated in the original post. Any lower and Iwould be scrapping the front aero spoiler even with the Gert FRB.

Here is a chart with the different options:
Factory height settings in mm
FRONT REAR
USA : Standard 174 +/- 10 157 +/- 10
RoW : Standard 154 +/- 10 147 +/- 10
USA : M030 174 +/- 10 157 +/- 10
RoW : M030 144 +/- 10 127 +/- 10
RoW : Rennsport 124 +/- 10 107 +/- 10
