Default HELP!

I removed the gearbox and while cleaning it, I heard a kaching ... then I saw this part on the ground.

As far as I am concerned, it came from the bell housing area... get to work all you tech gurus

Thank you as always

Gearbox is back on the engine. Clutch is in great shape so the brand new 996 GT3 unit in my parts bin will stay there.

New clutch slave cylinder in place, starter reinstalled ... lost one washer for one of the GB bolts. Tomorrows tasks include getting parts together, instaling a new non collapsed lifter on #1 intake then reinstalling the valve covers. Cleaning the suspension components falls into the plan as well.

Then s beauty shampoo for the motor. Lovely work I must say... tired but pleased...
