Default 997 GT3 front bumper for 993, from getty design

Anyone have a picture of one installed on a 993? I'm looking to buy one, but I want to make sure it doesn't look strange. I suspect it would look quite nice, but you never know. Thanks!

Jimmy-

Send me your email address and I'll send you a picture of one installed on a 993. IMHO, it looks out of place...

Here you go...keep in mind this is without the lower rubber/plastic spliiter installed yet. This pic is straight from Getty, mid install, obviously. Kinda looks like the 993 is sticking its tongue out at us, huh?

Jimmy,
It looks like *** (IMO), you are not allowed to buy one!

It looks like the car is choking up a hairball! The square/hard edges don't go with the curved lines of the 993 IMHO.

I'm pretty sure that is just a mock-up vehicle for the Pixar sequel to "Cars"

While this mock up looks pretty bad, ok really bad, I am curious to see the finished product. Please nobody attack for me saying this but I'll bet it will look nice when complete.

I think the look would be much improved once the left/right cut-outs are complete... the ones that provide airflow to the oil and a/c. Right now they're solid on that piece, but once they're open I think the look would improve tremendously. I'm not sure it would look good enough though, will need to see more pics once it's the right color and the screens are in place.

First, thanks for the pics. Second, it looks too ridiculous at this stage of installation for comment. I'm with Jeff. After trimming and paint it won't look the same. Especially in black. We will probably have different opinions when the install pictured is completed.

Right now, I wish I had not seen it as it is. I'm not ready for 993's to be the new ricer of choice...

You guys are funny. One thing to consider is that the lower splitter is not yet installed on that picture. I think with the splitter installed, it won't look so odd...but at this point, I'd have to see the final product. You guys are right though...things don't look too promising. Actually, I hope it looks bad so I won't have the urge to spend money. Damn slippery slope.

Thanks AC993C2S for posting the pic.
