Default help! 993 at Autohaus West, Irvine, CA

Hi guys, I'm an ex-996 owner and is currently looking at getting a 993. I found this car at Autohause West (I'm looking for a white or speed yellow one) and wonder if anyone have seen this can give his opinion? I understand from searching that this dealer's reputation is not exactly confidence insipiring. Would appreciate any help.

Price seems a little steep for the miles on it IMO.
Buying a 10 year old car is impossible without a lot of home work.
If you love the car, think the price is fair, then get the PPI done to see what your in for.
Good luck,
Jim

I have read in some older posts that Autohaus West do not allow PPI, is this true?

Well if it is a condition of your offer, they have to allow one or no deal.
The is no way I would buy an expensive car with no warranty without the PPI from a mechanic I trust. Just my 2 cents.

just at a price check, I got my 96 C2 a few months ago for $31.5K. similarly optioned (aluminum ebrake, shifter, seats, cruise etc..) No way I would buy a car without a PPI from MY mechanic.

keep looking, there are plenty of 993s around, although if you really want white, your choices may be limited. I came across mostly black ones. I opted for mechanical condition over color.

Bought mine from there with no issues (probably came up in a search), without a PPI

Their Terms of Sale state: (Bold added)

Buyer's Inspection
Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. JEM MOTOR CORP. has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. JEM MOTOR CORP. welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Not really close enough for a visual... but it looks good, if a little high priced... (FWIW I did not pay their asking price )
