The Tennessee version is $300 more but less of a drive. Of course it would be nice to see Miami. I will check with Dough (my little water cooled brother) and see which one we want. I'll keep you posted.

I am going to wait for that car to be listed locally here in Georgia so I don't have to drive too long to go and check it out.

I don't know why you guys are so negative... I just wired the guy $15k from my bank, I'm picking the car up next week. The only thing I found strange is, he told me he would pick me up at the airport, but he never asked what time my flight gets in? I'm sure he'll call back...

Received an email from the seller:

Hello,
My name is Kevin N****** I am the owner of the 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera that you have asked about. The car was purchased new and I am the original owner. Has always been very well maintained and garaged with very little use. The car is located in Orlando(Florida) with me and will be shipped from the Orlando on my expense. The car is in excellent condition. I have the clear title in hand, the manual and all the documents. The total price $15,600 USD including shipping. We will make the deal through BidPay so we can be both protected and insured. I need your full name and your shipping address so i can arrange the shipping, also I can set up the transaction through BidPay only with BidPay. I am waiting for your response with any questions you may have.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Told him I could fly down there and pay him cold cash money.

Tell the seller you have a friend in Orlando who is willing to preview the car for you.
I'd do it, but I doubt the car exists.

No, I beat you to it, Chris.

Either way, I'm sure one of us will get our money back.

Mark, curious what his reply will be (about flying down to pay cash)?

I can predict that he'll come back with a story that the car is elsewhere and he doesnt have the time to meet anyone..
