I got mine from the dealer. I think they are chrome plated gold ones which are then hand painted. Ebay usually has some too. Just be careful since oem ones do have some variation. When I got mine, they had one with a 993 part and one with a 911 part number and they do look different.

THere is a guy I met at the German autofest in Ventura that did those and has his own website I cant remember his name. Now that I have changed colors I might have to go with a silver one. Had one on my 993 Twin Turbo Midnite blue then left it gold on my Gaurds Red one now that I am GTsilver I think silver
might require a silver hood badge-problem then is I have the gold crests on the wheels then those would have to change to silver
Oh and wait till you get to stretch the gasket!!! Worse than planning a wedding
