Did Boxsters also come with MY02 think spokes and if so, are they a different size than the 996 fitments? (ie. Boxster twists were different than 996 twists).

TIA

David,

Yes they did, but they are a different offset. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will tell you the exact offsets of each.

Thanks...I'm thinking of using the Boxster rears as front wheels along with the 996 rears. You can do this with the twists but wasn't sure if the size/offsets work with the narrow wheels.

9" in the front, smart. Now, if they only made them in 11" rears...

Yeah 245-255 on 9" ET52 is a good size for the front and will work well with 285 on 10" ET65 rear. Even though I currently have 11" IMHO there is no real need to go this wide since trying to fit wider than 295s becomes problematic on a NB, but for the front the 9" will let you go as wide as 255.

I love MY02s and thought about going that route for a track set but with a WB, I think I have to go with 11" R/305s and 9" F/255s. For a NB, I like your idea.

Here's a couple shots of my 5 spoke 997 wheels. Very similar to the MY02 but the spokes are a bit wider.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but will the 996 C2/C4 wheels fit straight onto the 993 NB or are the offsets different?

And how much are these wheels?
