Here's what the builder of my track car chose to do (CF parts partially painted to blend with steel parts)

Steve: I feel bad man. I know it would look great on Rufus but I just bought a metallic black C4S with black full leather interior and I'm planning on putting on the CF interior and CF GT3 seats. Imagine how good that hood would match my car...

LJ,

Yes, you're right, I suppose. sigh. You will lose your ventilation. And your muffler bearings may start to rattle. Where do you live? Where is Lotus Land? I would paint it so it would be all function on Rufus... don't need no stinking windshield washers on my car! BTW, Rufus has C/F interior as well. Would you like a black C/F steering wheel? It has small cracks in the resin (typical sun damage). Its yours. I'm starting to cry now.

There, there, you'll be okay. I haven't bought it yet so it's not a done deal. No, this is not license for you to try to convince me out of it and I'm not listening so don't even try. LALALALALALA I can't hear anything....LALALALALA...

Lotusland is Vancouver, BC.

Is the offer on the wheel a token in gesture for me to let go of the hood deal?

yes, of course it is. And, just to sweeten the deal... your choice of any two of our cats. make that three.

LALALALALA....did somebody say something??? LALALALALA

Just kidding man but you're tempting me. I guess I've got to stop reading your posts until I get the pics and make a decision, for your own good, otherwise you're gonna end up offering up the farm for the hood. Oh wait, you have already....

Finn:

It'll be difficult, heck, impossible for me to live without the vents here in rainy Vancouver, therefore, I'll have to take a pass.

Steve:

The one thing that makes me happy about this unfortunate realization is knowing that it's going on your car and to someone who'll be really happy to buy it. Now, how'bout pics of those kitties???

LJ,

Here are some of the cats. I think there are a few more, but no one will tell me exactly how many we have. You have made a wise decision... That hood should look pretty amazing on Rufus (who is never driven in the rain). Email me at ca993twin@yahoo.com if you think you may want the steering wheel, and I'll send some pictures.

Finn,

I'll respond to your email for payment and shipping info.

Please don't tell my wife. Oh wait.. Father's Day!!!! Yea. There ya go!
