Talking New FPB Group Buy

As mentioned in an older thread, I am looking for those interested in a group buy with Gert on the front protection bar. I know that I need one to head off any unwelcome encounters with driveways, speedbumps, etc. for my recently lowered car!

Gert says that if we can get at least ten participants, he will have the same price as last year's group buy :

For the US : 110 Euro delivered.
For Europe-zone1 : 110 Euro all in and delivered.

The Euro is currently trading at $1.3541, so this would be $148.95 delivered to those of us in the states. I think that this is an attractive price, based on some other recent posts' stated prices.

If interested, please reply (yes, reply again, if you did on the other one, but I will check in with you if I don't hear from you a second time), and then I'll work out the logistics with you and Gert soon. Also, will find out from Gert which other threads we could also post this on, as I think the 964 and perhaps others may also have use for this.

Thanks for doing this...
If that final cost includes delivery to my place than I'm IN!

Cool Check out Group Buy

www.gotogroupbuy.com Great web site...they help you set up group buys, no cost to buyer and seller. You can callfor technical support to set it up....very slick, AND the GB gets much wider circulation....

I have a Euro Turbo front bumper on my car now, will the FTB bar that you are looking at fit under my bumper? I have (4) fasteners under my bumper and the FTB seems to have only (3) connection points on it. If it will work on my car I am in for the group buy.

Steady progress on getting 10 for the GB...

SC2993,

Please check with Gert regarding the fitment for your car. I really don't know the answer to your question.

Martin,

I will take a look at the site you recommended when I get a little free time. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you are looking to get the numbers of buyers up, try cross-posting to the 964 forum as the same bar fits our cars.

The center connection point is an existing larger hole in the sheetmetal, not the same as where the bumper cover screws in. It will work.
