Default Anyone Looking for a '98 993 C2S

A good friend called this morning to confirm that he was selling his Porsche......It is a '98 993 C2S in Dark Forest Green over Cashmire.....It is a beautiful example with 33,000 or so miles and it is well optioned. It may be full leather....I know the seats are supple leather, 18" tech. wheels with new tyres, lowered with Porsche parts, LSD....... a mint example with service records and it can be seen at the Porsche dealer in Richmond VA as of today....it is on consignment I think.......he offered it to me in that it is a twin to the '98 993 C2S I sold a few years ago......My current health issues prevent me from buying it or I would jump on it.

The seller is a true gentleman and a long time Porsche owner, PCA supporter and officer.....He bought a '07 GT3 a few months ago and thus the sale of his 993 C2S...... He is abreast of the market relative to value and pricing

Since I don't have a dog in this fight, if you would like to talk with him, send me an email or PM and I'll provide contact info

It might have the same factory's option as Michael J Fox's DeLorean!

Beautiful. I love the green. I would even consider it over my Arena Red.

Default Thanks Folks

For all the interest......I have forwarded your contact information to the owner and hopefully he has or will be in touch.......

His new White '07 GT3 is just wild, white over black....what a Porsche; have an invite to go down to VIR with him and a promise to drive a few laps in a '05 Porsche GTC as well as the GT3....been along time since I drove at speed on a track like VIR....perhaps that can serve in lieu of a cardiac stress test

Default Interest Anyone?

I know some Rennlisters contacted me via email regarding their potential interest in the beautiful Porsche.....The owner is a close friend and I have no interest financial or otherwise in this Porsche. That said, he will send some photos this weekend along with a copy of the option codes and PCNA Certificate of Authenticity....

The Porsche is here in Richmond at EuroClassic Porsche on consignment. The dealer's listed price contains a number of dealer fees which are not germane in a private sale......

The owner told me this morning that he just had a new battery installed, new tyres mounted and a major AC rehab and service, i.e. $1,300 for the latter.....

I know he loves this Porsche and I am still surprised that he is selling it....But the new '07 GT3 is apparently to good and it is a car he ordered over a year ago

I know the cash and carry price for a private sale amd I am happy to share it and the materials referenced above to those with a serious interest and the means to purchase without a hassle

Does euroclassic have a website? Googled it but didn't find anything.

It is listed in their "Pre-Owned" page, not their consignment page. Mileage 35K, and asking $ 58,900.
They've got about 18 pictures there, including a Certificate of Authenticity.

Default Consignment

The letter "c" by the stock number means consignment and again the dealer's price is a good bit higher than if you buy directly from the owner....the owner can cancel the consignment agreement on a moment's notice and he will if there is a serious buyer...

The Porsche is also on the PCA Mart at the consignment price for obvious reasons......If it helps I owned the twin to this Porsche and I sold it for $56,000 to a Rennlister.....My old Porsche was resold with same miles for $55,000 and change a few months ago via the Rennlist classifieds....

Default If you have an interest

The owner said $55,000 ......and someone can become a happy owner......

If you are interested, PM me and I'll provide you with name and contact info.

Again I have no financial interest in this ....just sharing an opportunity for someone to obtain a wonderful 1998 993 C2S.....I have helped other members of Rennlist over the years acquire Porsches just for a later "thank you....I love my new Porsche"

Have a great Memorial Day weekend

If I had not just bought a 993 I would have made the stretch for this one, what a color combo.
