TYpical price seems to be around $100 to $150 for a pair of used, standard, non-Motorsound mufflers. They can occassionally be found on eBay for as low as $50 if no one is bidding, while some have asked for as much as $200. Shipping is kinda pricey as a percentage of value- around $50.

No affiliation with anyone buying/selling, just my observation after selling a set of Motorsound mufflers last year.

Hope that breaks the log jam!

From my previous experience Jim is 100% correct. I sourced a used set last fall for my LPMM. The Porsche junk yard stealers were $150 and up to $250 a pair. I lost out on a set on Fleabay that went to about $130ish. Then a kind, fellow Rennlisted got me in at the price Jim referenced above and shipping from the west coast to me in the midwest was about $40.00.

I have found several sets on eBay and Craigslist that sold for much less. I paid $30 (+ $20 shipping from Sacramento, so close to me) and I have seen several set of them go for around $50. Just be patient. However, depending on distance (and the sellers markup), the shipping could be much more than I paid.

As a comparison, there is a set of 996 mufflers for sale in the classifieds for $75.00.
I will take a set at that price. PM me if you want to sell yours for $75 plus shipping to FL.

What would the offer be for a pair with 15K? I would consider selling mine if the offer were sufficient - and no, $75 is not sufficient.

I think you can use what Robin charges in lieu of a core exchange for his RSRs as a reference value.
