I think the 997 GT3 is beautiful. Is it just me?

Nice. Do you have a zoomed out pic of the car?

Thought someone stole my car there for a second the first moment I saw that pic The front end is the only difference and only as of recently. That 997 GT3 is a SWEET car though. I've been on track with one and they are scary fast too.

The 997 GT3 is awesome. But it's not really blasphemy to suggest that here, since, correct me if I'm wrong (lord knows my wife doesn't hesitate), the GT3 motor is still the split case unit derived from the 911 GT1, which was derived from our air-cooled motor. The heads and cylinders are obviously different to support water-cooling, but it's the only split-case motor left in the street arsenal, I think.

I still prefer the widebody 964 & 993 over any of the other 911 models .. I think those two capture the 911 exactly right

997GT3 and the GT3RS are my two favorite 911s of all time in terms of appearance. They are visually stunning in pictures but I have yet to see one in the flesh.

GT3RS in Orange....

First, I really want to find a 993 C2S in Vesuvio... preferably non-Aerokit II.

Yes, and the Turbo still has this case as well.

I'll start looking for a lightly used 7-GT3, black of course, or if that doesn't work out I'll probably end up ordering an 08.

Kind of depressed right now letting the 993 go, but it looks like it's going to a good home. Funny, the owner of the shop just sold his 993 yesterday and was feeling the same way when I dropped it off for the PPI this morning. Maybe they will find a problem and the buyer will back out. I wouldn't be too upset. I really didn't think it would sell so fast...

Good luck, Joe! I hope you stick around the 993 board.
