Got It! 1997 C2S (Lots of Pics)
Well, I closed the deal on a new (to me) 993 today. This will be a stablemate to my daily driver-- '06 Cayenne S.
Here are some of the details:
1997 C2S
Ocean Blue/ Cashmere
29,000 miles on the clock (used only as a summer driver)
Purchase from original owner (who bought it new at Brahman in '97)
Garaged and kept covered during the life of the car.
PPI completed-- Scored A+ on compression and leakdown tests. Mechanic said it was one of the finest examples mechanically that he has seen in a while.
Only slight bummer is that car has had some paintwork done due to a deep "keying" it received. But, importantly, PPI confirmed no accidents. All undercarriage parts are original and no "wrinkles" which would be indicative of structual or frame damage.
I closed the deal and left car with a local "ace" mechanic to perform original 30,000 mile service (1000 miles early, but why not? )
Below are several pictures from the PPI and when I picked it up at the seller's house. (Yes, the black CS in the background is mine).
It's a funny thing, I have been looking all over the country for the right C2S (as you may know from my prior posts) and this one came up from a private seller less than 20 miles from my house.

Nice find. Love the color. Looks perfect. Agree that it'd be perfect with 18s and less height. Congrats.

Very nice! Congrats and welcome to the 993 club. You do need to get the car closer to the ground and some 18" rims. I have a set of 18" hollow spokes (chrome) with Pilot Sports driven less than 1k miles. PM me if you're interested. If you want to see photos of the rims, click my sig photo.
Enjoy the car, it looks fantastic!
