Smile Help with cassette holder replacement

Hello Guys. I am new to Rennlist but a diehard 993 fan who has learned more about this car from this forum than you can imagine, thanks. I picked up my 2nd 993 a couple of weeks ago, a 96 Cabrio, black with cashmire and 19K miles.

I want to replace the cassette holder with a storage bin or a CD holder. Any ideas along with where to buy? Thanks and after 2 more posts I post some pictures.

Tom

My suggestion would be the Bird armrest. It gives you a lockable compartment bigger than any tray you can fit in there, plus the armrest makes driving much more comfortable and relaxing. It's a bit pricey but well worth it.

BIRDAutomotive.com ......not affiliated, blah, blah, blah

You can replace it with the following OEM parts

Console Cup; 964.552.159.00.1DB
Rubber Insert; 993.552.091.00

I seem to recall a thread or two on this topic.
