Mike,

love your cars, similar to what my garage would look like if I had more time. I have a 993, owned a track prepped miata(sold), am looking at NSX's now, and put a deposit as the 2nd in line buyer but lost out on a red/white convertible GTO just this winter(it was a '66 though).

whats your experience been like with the NSX? I'm attracted to the performance/low ownership cost/entry price on the NSX right now

If 20 years is vintage, then I guess my 951 fits the bill. I also have a Westfield, which although it isn't that old, seems to blend the best of old and new: no driver's aids, nor modern conveniences, but 21st century engine with programmable ECU, and modern brakes and suspension components.

I just got this a couple months ago. It's a 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider.

The 928 and E34 both qualify for the equivalent of old age security ... low classic car insurance rates ....

This was my pride and joy.....1986 E30 325i with factory M suspension and interior. I owned it for over 15 years and it never let me down.
Given space to garage it, I would have happily spent whatever it took for a full restoration (it was developing some rust issues after spending too long in airport carparks), but the time came and it had to go.
Young guy bought it, spent some money on the bodywork, only to have it destroyed by an incompetent in a SUV. He was gutted and I almost shed a tear.

Just bought my 1st 911 ('95 993 coupe) about 2 months ago. A "condition" was that I sell my 1988 BMW e28 M5. Best laid plans....
The M5 remains my daily drive....can't seem to part with it. The marraige is still intact and thriving (my wife LOVES the 993!!)
