Maximum width tire for 993 wide body

Will a 1998 993 wide body take a turbo twist 2 with 295/30/18's in the rear?

Very nice handling, fills the wheel well perfectly, but you need a 235/40/18 on the front for balanced handling. If you buy from the Tire Rack, just tell their web site you have an '04 GT3.
