Nice 993 and great first post (having pix included). I like the fact you're part way down the slippery slope already, nice going!.
We sloper's even have a theme song...."Another one bits the dust....and another one does and another one does"....etc; referring to our relationships with our siginifant others and the $$$ we spend on our 993's.............LOL
Enjoy the car and think about a PCA driving school if this is your first 911 chassis experience.

beautiful 993.....surprised it rides as high as it does given the ROW M30 suspension....i too had that suspension on my 996 and while it rode high it seemed less so.
enjoy it...it's beautiful

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
I hope to make a decision on the suspension by the end of this month. The front is definitly a little high, the rear is a little better. Everything I seem to read says that the original shocks are dead so for my safety I will need to take care of this. My friend who also happens to have a 1997 993 is really into DE events and is of course pushing me to start. He is not helping the situation by talking about the need for PSS9's. I guess it would depend on how many events I end up doing, which I do not know at this point.

Wow, easy to be jealous of the newbie with those late model lightweights and sticky Rossos! Sport seats aren't too shabby either.
If you are interested in trading for some 17" 996 takeoffs with only a LITTLE curb rash let me know.
