Default Boston 993 Mechanic

Anyone here service their 993 in Boston area? Any recommendations?

I am considering going down the 993 road for a second P car, but I want to get a feel for how and where it could be serviced given lack of a warranty.

(I live on the North Shore.)

I use Randolph Racing, not much help to you on the North Shore unfortunately. Theres a good guy in Framingham and NH that I've heard of.

As far as service issues, I can tell you I'm 3 years into my 1996 as a daily driver all spring/summer and have done nothing but scheduled stuff- 60K service, brakes, new suspension/shocks(half to replace the shocks, half so I could lower it to ROW height) and oil changes plus a couple of small/cheap bits like a power window switch.

+1 for Jerry & EPE. Easy drop off/pick up as the shop is located 1/4 mile from the Natick train station.

Jerry recently completed a free PPI on a 993 for me and he's really professional and patient with people unfamiliar with the car. (such as myself)

+1 for Jerry. Don't expect rock bottom prices but do expect excellent work.

Jerry's holding a Tech Session at EPE on Saturday, April 14th. You can get the details in the PCA NER newsletter, the "Nor'easter".

Has anyone ever had a PPI or work down on their 993 at Boston Sports Cars in Weston?

I use Jerry as well, but i drive past Boston Sports Cars in Weston almost daily, and have been curious about them for some time. They certainly have a nice selection of cars in their front lot on a daily basis.
