I was a little hessitant to post an opinion on the 2" pipe since I have only heard them on soundclips. Furthermore, I belive one of the clips I heard was with 2" and no cats, leading me to possibly mispercieve how loud 2" pipes really sound. I hope Rob and I can hook up soon and document the differences for everyone to judge for themselves but it's great to hear from everyone who's used 2" pipe.
JPS: I'd say that RSRs are very near in volume to the 1.5" pipe LPMMs and yes, if cost was not a factor, I'd take the RSRs over LPMMs. It has a metallic note that is lost with the LPMMs and I just love that sound. Check out the link I posted above. It has a good comparison between the RSRs and LPMMs with 1.5" pipe. If you hear them side by side in person, the difference is more evident.
Bruce: I do plan on being there provided that nothing gets in the way between now and then. It's a busy time for me right now but hope to make it and meet you in person. You were great help in determining whether or not to do this mod to begin with. Thanks.

I give a slight edge to the RSR's too. It's oh so sweet!

Just took a little drive tonight into Seattle. The parking garage was histerical! My wife was waiting in the other car as we met up there for an event. She was cracking up! What fun hearing the exhaust.
Roll the windows up and cruise at partial throttle and the sound falls behind. Under load, you can still hear it but just right!
Cheers!
