Default Too good to be true?

I'm in the market to add another 993 to the family, a cheap one at that.

I found what looks to be a good deal, its a '95 MT in cosmetically good shape.

The questionable parts:
119,000 Miles
Upper engine rebuilt at 110k

The combo of high miles and a rebuilt engine put me on the line between do and don't, what are your thoughts?

Yep that would be it, however that page is new to me. I found it on Craigslist.

I've driven it. It has its share of problems. I recently made a thread about the car.

Cool Another piece of Walrod Iron on the block?

Am I reading that the Walrodmobile is for sale? Based on what I have read on this thread....that is the way it seems to me.

If Chris is selling a car, you can rest assured it is in fine shape.

Well it seems like a risk I don't want to bother with, guess I'll fork over more money for less miles.

He mentioned he had a buyer back out at 23.5k, was that you Jack?

I don't think so Martin ... just saw Dr. Walrod Sunday and we chatted some about the plans for his car.

you might be interested in the car posted on pelican. there was a thread from the seller w/a link to his ad a few weeks ago. looked like an ok deal for someone looking for an older driver. no affiliation w/seller.

Would this be a good candidate for a track car or would the miles make it a no go?
