On a serious note My wife and I have a baby girl 7 months ago. ye sthe sleep is gone, yes the going out when you feel like it is gone, the sleeping in is gone, lots of things we did befoer are gone but you know what, I would not trade all of them back for the joy Caroline has brought us.
Congratulations

Thanks guys for the kind words, its been an interesting journey I really don't mind the no sleep thing, with my daughter, it was time to sit in peace and "bond". I hope it'll be the same thing now 8 years later.
I told my wife that I'll need to get an 07 Cayman ........in time to cruise the kid (and me) around She didn't say no And yes I plan on at least having 1 993 in the garage for him (and my daughter) to learn to cut their teeth in. If there's one thing my kids WILL do, its know how to drive

Congrats Chris...That's a great looking future P-car pilot...Actually, my wife thinks he looks alot lot like our 34 year old son did at birth....His name is Christopher and he drives a '97 993 cab....

Chris,
Fantastic news. Our son is Christopher as well. I have a Cayman earlier this year (no, Margaret did not give birth) and it is simply fantastic. You will enjoy yours (both of them).
Don't worry about the no-sleep thingy, it is entirely over-rated. Just ask Mooty.
Best wishes for the new addition, and everyone in the family. Hope to see you folks out in N. Cal one day soon.
