Hardtop for Cab FS
I don't know if these are desireable since I drive a coupe, but I came across
this on Craigslist and the price seemed cheap at $500.

Yup, I think it is a 996 hardtop. I haven't found any 993 hardtops.

That shows what I know! Apparently the guy selling it doesn't even know himself.

They DO exist, a German supplier of aftermarket parts makes 993 HT's, and also tops that make you Boxter look like a Cayman. If I come across the site again I'll post the link.

Yeah, Stroesek made a hard top for the 993. Wish thats what this guy was selling for $500 bucks.

I think you have to actually remove the convertible top to install the hardtop on the 993, though.

That is correct. I also saw a post about an aftermarket hardtop for a 993. What stopped me was the need to remove the soft top in order to fasten the hardtop.
Oh well.

yes - there is a section in the factory manual about removing the soft top and installing the hardtop so there is presumably a factory version

Factory version was like a 12k option. And you wonder why they didn't sell many...
