despite some rain, we got 3 993's on the dyno today.
96 w/cat delete = 341hp
97 stock = 328hp
95 w/ecu tuning = 337hp

I didn't end up dynoing the 993tt due to the viscous couple issues....

Good time, too bad the RSR didn't show up

Pics to come

It was more than just a little rain today! Snow too, not a good drive down. However, completely worth it, we had a great time talking Porsche and for some of us (Paul actually had snow tires on his car!) a good time to get the Porsche out of winter mothballs.

Thanks to Greg for setting this up and the guys at Mac for being great hosts, and giving us a very nice deal too.

I was going to let my car stay dirty after driving in the rain (the horror), since I plan to go to Grant's track day in the next couple of weeks, but I decided I won't be able to stand it, so plan to wash it tomorrow.

Few pics:
TroyN's car, Paul, Scott, Nick looking on. I had never heard my car running under load from outside - quite loud w/ the bypasses and Cargraphics!

Paul's car up next, including a shot showing an indicated 125 MPH at redline in 4th.

Scott showing the crew the wonders of the Targa mechanism.

A few toys in the Mac workshop. I know at least one person who is now considering a 240SX track car with SR20DET motor! One of the Mac guys, Nick, showed us a dyno graph of his at 450 rwhp, not bad...

Anyway, looking forward to the next Colo RL event!

Greg,

I had a great time today! Thanks for setting this up!

Troy,

The pictures were awesome! I guess its true - red 993's are faster, and much, much louder!

Paul
