Just saw this and glad that I didn't miss out!
So when are we going to make this happen Arrwin? I haven't seen Carm in what seems like years.
Looking forward to a warm and sunny spring.

I should be up for this on Sunday.
Any thoughts on what time we'll meet? I am in Midtown, so would be up for meeting say columbus circle and then driving to Bear Mtn together.
I'm taking the 993 to have the OP sensor replaced in PA on Sat, so assuming all goes well, I'm in.

harriman roads
i'm also itching to get out the Pcars and get on with the gettin' on...but...i ride my road bike, training, proably 6 days/week up in harriman 17a to 106 climb to hanawaque circle, along 7lakes, etc.
the roads are clear of snow but there is grit and gravel and salt pecks and pebbles and runoff everywhere. its not bad if you arent overly concerned, but i think another week or two, perhaps just one heavy rain to flush the roads of that nonesense.
lets put it this way, these few weeks of training up there in the spring thaw cause more grime and grit on my road bike than any other time of the year. i have to wash that bike of the salt and sludge after every ride.
Me? i wont be up there with the 993s just yet. i kept it inside all winter to be safe and not trash the paint, the car...no reason to get antsy by a week or two.
just my two cents..

We're glad to have you experience the "dark side" of Metro! We track junkies don't think we've had a good time unless the car gets DIRTY. If you have the ear to ear grin at the end of the day, you've become "one of us"! Your concours buddies won't recognize you.
Seriously, get a good night's sleep, listen to your instructor, remember "slow in and fast out" and have a great time. We'll look for you 'round the paddock.

I could be up to it, if I am feeling better. I have been home sick since Monday. I have either Bronchitis or Pneumonia... ehh.. chest xrays tomorrow, hopefully it's just a bad chest cold.. It's kicking my A$$ though. I think chance or rain Sunday. Any one up for a quick meet Saturday to show off their rides..
