Great looking wheel. Everytime I see one, I feel like getting one but also debating between more simple RS "look" momo mod7.

These wheels seem to be the most reasonably priced, I think I'm gonna get one, depending on what shipping costs. Either gonna be a silver arrow or freeway, not sure of the size though, 320 is a definite no, so either 340 or 365. any thoughts?

I think the stock wheel is 365. 320 would be too small. I see the Tack OK, but the Speedo beyond 80 is MIA.

Oem wheel is 380mm, so 365 would be better, but the consensus seems to be that 340mm is a great size. Does anyone have some experience re. gauges being obscured? I would imagine it's based on seat position/height/etc...

Gert's wheel looks like a Daytona, but who the hell knows. They're clearly all from the same manufacturer. By the time you add in the hub, seems like Gert's pricing is between Raid and FVD... but it is nice to get a full leather airbag cover with a choice on stitching color.

Yes.

It looks like 3 for GB (including myself) so far... I think we need at least 5 people, then I can start talking to vendors.

I'm all over these group buy things now :-)

I would definitely be interested in a all black CF one IF they could do one without the RAID logo at the bottom. Or do you think that is easy to take off without leaving any mark?

The RAID logo peels off without a trace.

If you want to do some digging and translations you should be able to buy the RAID wheels (maybe without the carbon) from http://www.duw.de for under €600 plus shipping. That's about $850 all-in.

I'll put the group buy together (at least dig around and get us some options) if we get 5+ people to commit. If we can get that rolling, I'll post on the 964 & 996 boards to bump up the numbers. I'm waiting to hear back from Gert re. whether he would be interested and what kind of numbers he would need. Once I see where we're at, I'll talk to Raid & FVD.
