1998 993 2S
48 is a great price with that mileage. I am about to list my 98 c4s with 89k miles for 42. Granted I have tons of upgrades, but just thought you should get a reference point.
Widebody are in high demand and the last year will also add a premium to the price!

The Kelly book does not apply to Porsche. The Kelly book is designed to take the retail purchase price as new, factor in milage, age and condition using a standard formula which is consistant with typical values of domestic and high production models. This method has no bearing on Porsche and should be ignored. I would use rennlist and a PPI to establish a value. Also search autotrader.com and other sites that sell used Porsches to get a feel for the values.

I think $48k is way to much but it is the last of the 993's

$48K is in the current ballpark
Color, location and 6 speed vs tip are the only real price variables given a car in excellent condition and with good PPI (engine and body). C2S's and 98's are demanding a steep premium over other NA model including C4S
Do a search as there have been a number of discussion on this as of late.
The real question is "Is this the car and color you really want?" if you can afford it then buy it. If not keep looking!

That's about what I paid for my '98 Tip last year w/57K miles, at the height of spring. Mine had 18" hollow twists, oval exhausts, motorsound, and some other gewgaws. Black w/red-black interior, which for me, at least, was THE color choice.

if it is a 98 Carrera S, Silver/Black, 6-speed with 50k miles... assuming pristine body/mechanicals, $48k is a GREAT price...definitely not on the low end IMHO
Is this car by chance in the Sacramento Calif area?I just bought a mint 98 C2S,so no I don't want to buy it.If it is Ocean Blue Mettalic, it was hit hard.I have all the Body Shop invoices.$12,000 in damage. The car I am speaking of also had 5 owners and was/is on auto trader.I hope it is not the same car
