Default Build Quantity by Color?

OK, I searched a bunch, but I don't think it's here.

Does anyone have a text table or chart listing out the quantity of 993s built by year and by color? Don't need to know by body style, just how many built in each color for each of the four years.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

Ditto that. Vesuvius (or whatever) is pretty close, no?

Pretty much all of them. Let's say '95, for example. It could be:

2,000 black
1,000 guards
500 glacier white
500 adventurine green
300 speed yellow

etc. etc.

There are 2 takes on rarity. You can imagine that because it is rarer it is worth more and is therefore better and more desirable. Or you can assume that it is rarer because it wasn't as nice and was less desirable so they made fewer, and it should therefore be worth less. Choosing the color you like best is at least a good measure of what it is worth to you.

I do know that there were a LOT of speed yellow 993's in 1995 compared to later years. I heard PAG added a charge for SY in 1996+, hence you dont' see as many. My car searching certainly bore that out.

I bet there are a lot of '70s 911 owners who wish Porsche had painted all those brown cars silver or black.

I liked Iris Blue just because it is rare and if that was because most buyers in 95' didn't like it, I don't care. I love it!
At quite a few PCA/POC events over the last two years, I have only seen one other 95' in the same color!, but it didn't really count because it was a Cab!...kidding....LOL
