Default Snow wobble

Today I was accelerating briskly when my steering developed a SERIOUS shimmy. Started at 45 and got worse up to 60. I eased back to 35 and it was still there. I wobbled and wubbled home. At 25 it went away.

Turns out I had a large chunk of frozen grey muck on the inside rim of the passenger's side front wheel. It weighed about a pound. I guess a pound of mass is enough to upset the tire balance and make the steering shimmy, huh?

I knocked it out of there and she drove sweetly again. I still haven't unpuckered my rump yet though.
