Default installing new suspension - steep driveway...

I just got a 95 cab. I am planning on installing Bilsteins HD and H&Rs, i have stock setup now. I want to lower the car as much as possible, but i do have a semi-steep driveway. I took measurements on my driveway with my current stock setup and at the tightest spots i have 1 3/4" clearance in rear, and 2 3/4" in front. The way the driveway is, the back of the car has the tightest clearance.

My question is, when i do install my new suspension, what is the max rake can i do without have driving/bump steering/other problems? What problems will have if i rake it too much?

thanks

Do a search for Jeff's (In_The_Air) excellent suspension DIY writeup. Pretty much everything you need to know for a successful install.

As for rake, the 993 should actually have a 1 degree rake measured at the rocker sill. The end result of a properly-adjusted suspension is a bit more fender clearance in the front vs. the rear.

Good info.
