I think it is just an optical illustion--when you look at the size of the window relative to the snap placement (which is universal), it looks the same.

Jeff:

I knew you used the Aerospace products, but glad to hear on the back window we used the same I have always had great results with Megs. I am going to try the 303 on the interior. I also use the Megs #18 on the guages. Crystal clear. See ya.

By the way, Mike, I updated the post above. I actually use #10 and #17 (see the link).

The 303 is good on the interior as a touch up, so to speak. But I used to use Leatherique 4-6 times a year to really hydrate the leather and soften it up. When I got the car, the leather was pretty hard (and this was on the supple leather interior). Within a few applications of Leatherique, it really started softening up.

I am going through the leather conditioning process right now. I just installed new covers on the sport seats and they are drinking in the conditioner. I have applied 4 times already in just 2 days. Results are comming out pretty good. With new leather you always have to keep conditioning until it soaks in. 4-6 times a year is what you should do even though the car isn't driven that much. Keeping leather soft and supple takes time.

I believe both Jeff and Mike are correct, mine just seems small since I can see so little out of it.

I do need to do Jeff's #10 & 17 work on it to clean it up a little but that still won't help the positioning issue. I get a great view of asphalt and bumpers though.

My top will need replacing in a year or so anyway.

Bill:

Try the clean and polish. If the plastic is a milky white it may be a gonner. The cleaner and polish will help. Also what is the general condition of your top? If the condition is good you can have new plastic window sewn in. The only issues is that the top still has to come off the car and you have to pay for the window and labor for the window. So it will only save a little money. I always replace the top. Plus it makes the whole car look better

My visibility issues are more to do with the placement of the window, the plastic is cloudy but not so bad I can't see out of it.

The tops condition isn't worth replacing the window only. The 2 rear corners at the frame are worn, not such that they are leaking but enough to know it will need replacing w/in a year or so.

I used the Porsche product on the top last fall. Worked well for making water bead off the top. In the future I'll use the products you and Jeff use but the Porsche spray worked well enough to tide me over for now.

Bill:

Do you have a pic of the rear of your car with the top up? I would love to get a clearer idea on the window issue. This is a pic of Blackhorse. Does your window look like this or smaller?
