At $899 PER SEAT for new leather seat covers, they're sure helping Leatherique sales.

lol, it really sucked. The glue that holds the existing carpet is evil evil stuff. You need a mixture of heat gun, box cutter, and brut strength. It's tricky not to destroy the sound foam while pulling out the carpet.

And little details made it a pain to change the carpet color. E.g. next to the trunk release is a little carpet piece that's sewed to a long strip of vinyl that's glued in place. Little stuff like that made it time consuming.

http://www.southboundtrimmers.com/

Can't recommend them highly enough. Can source any trim, and Dave Nunn (the owner) is almost scarily knowledgable on all things Porsche-trim related...

Before you replace the leather for big bucks, try a redye with color plus. I am in the process of redying my black seats and the driver seat came out great (still working on the removal of the passenger seat but today it will come out)!

Try these people www.gahh.com I just bought a set of sport seat covers in leather from them. Quality was great. They also do carpet kits. I have used world upholstrey before as well with excellent results.

Yes. And they are very nice as well. IIRC they have 3 stages of tops. All priced accordingly. I have replaced a couple of the 964 tops and only 1 993 top. My trim shop always reccomends them.
