Another vote for the WAZE app ... fantastic for the Bay Area with lots of users.
I always run my V-1 along with WAZE for maximum situational awareness.

I ran the cord under the trim around to the passenger side then under and behind the dash and tapped into the sunroof power, which is switched.

I used a flat screwdriver wrapped in tape to tuck it under the trim.
I also use waze, great app.
