Attn So Cal RL'ers - Village Coffee Roaster Anyone?
With the weather starting to get really nice again I figured it might be cool to meet up and do the Village Coffee Roaster thing at the El Camino Shopping Center, possibly meeting at the bottom of Sunset and PCH.
The event is usually on the last sunday of every month right? So that'd be the 25th?

That sounds like fun. Is everyone welcome? What is the atmosphere like (Just guys, Wives, Kids ?). Not that the wife or either kid would want to get up that early on a Sunday...

Its a very casual car "gathering" in a huge strip mall parking lot. It is more-or-less "hosted" by Dustin from the Village coffee roaster. On the last Sunday, there may be 400 cars or so... starting around 8:00 and ending around 11:00. Exotics, muscle cars, hot rods, classics, and just a bunch of cool cars and nice people. Bring your camera.

Kinda far from Carlsbad... in Calabasas... off the 101 freeway at the Mulhulland/Valley Circle off ramp. Just 1/4 block North of the Freeway ... off Mulhulland.

Assuming all that coffee does its magic, you might be hungry later 
. A good after plan is the Sunday Brunch at the Sagebrush Cantina. Last time I was there it was 'ess than $25 with unlimited, er, "sparkling wine." An interesting mix of Harley guys, **** starts, steriod boys, C-listers (i.e. saw Van Damme there once) and regular folks like us. Live band(s) in the afternoon.
