Default Cayman S 18"

I have been offered a set of brand new 18" Cayman S wheels with Michellin Pilot Sport rubber with 0 miles. Will they fit my 95 C2 (nb)?

Here's the spec of the wheels:
Size with tires (front) Cast alloy 8J x 18 235/40 ZR 18
Size with tires (rear) Cast alloy 9J x 18 265/40 ZR 18

I'm not so sure these will look as great as the 17" Cup IIs I have currently, but I'm getting these for cheap.

I don't like the wheel that you posted in your other thread, but that's just my opinion. There are far better looking wheels out there for the 993.

ps. post the wheel photo on this poll as well.

In going to 18" wheels you need to brace the steering rack of the 1995 993 if I'm not mistaken as quoted in a Factory Bulletin. Bigger wheels and tires mean higher unsprung weight so I voted no. The newer cars have suspensions and wheel/tire packages that are developed together and tested to work best together. Why risk losing all that benefits just to look cooler.

IMHO, I would also prefer a 10" wheel in the rear.

I don't think they will fit in the rear. I beleive the Cayman offset is the same as the Boxster which is 50 in the front and 52 in the rear for 18" wheels. This will make them stick out by aroun 13mm which is a little more than 1/2 inch.
