Those are nice Jack - just perfect!

I have emailed Holger and hope to hear from him soon I suppose during business hours in Europe.

I will ask about a group buy but I prefer someone else would organize it.
I probaly will go ahead and just order them.

One thing I noticed is that he does not offer them on eBay anymore.

Hi Hans,

I organised the group buy with Armaturenringe and those are the ones you have in the photo you posted. They were very helpful and responsive so you should hear from them soon.

Cheers,

David

Yup, and I organized the second one--same experience.

Good luck.

I'm down for a group buy, if it ends up happening please post in the 911 and 964 forums, so more people can take advantage and hopefully we can all get a lower price

Yippee - I'm updated as a Rennlist member!!!!

Okay I emailed Holger at info@armaturenringe.de on Sunday evening and haven't got a reply yet.
The guy might be overwhelmed with emails so may need some patience.
But he does not advertise on eBay anymore and he is No longer a registered user.
Wonder if the guy is still in business?

Jeff/David - is that the correct email address to use to contact him?

Hans

Hi Hans,

The email address I used was holger.wienhoven@t-online.de plus the one that you have posted. Good luck!

Cheers,

Unfortunately, I went back and it doesn't seem like I have the emails. However, David's email address looks like the same one I used.

Holger was very personable. Once you make contact, you shouldn't have any issues dealing with him.

The GB organizer has to be the one who collects the money and forwards it and all of the names/addresses to him.

Let me know if you decide to do a group buy. I'm interested.

OK guys ... need some help ... I was part of 1 of last year's group buys for these rings ... never used them ... as I decided to keep the ones I got from Performance Products on my car. So I offered them to my wife ... and she likes them ... so now I'm tryin' to install them on her new rivi blue cab ... and they don't really fit ... they are a tad too small in diamter to just "snap on" and stay in place.

Did anyone else experience this? Anyone got any tips for making these rings stay in place? I tried some (thin) double sided tape ... but its not working. I don't really want to glue them on.

Thanks in advance.

They aren't snapped in Scott--you need to use the blue tack stuff that you find at Office supply stores for hanging posters.

I also find these internal rings attractive - please post particulars when the supplier in Germany responds.

Thanks Jeff.

I'll look for some today. Last night I found some of that 2-sided white, spongy mounting tape lying around the house ... tried it ... but its a bit too thick ... they do not set "in" when using that.

I purchased a set when Arrwin organized a group buy a while back. Absolutely love the rings.

I used a small amount of contact cement on either face and they held perfectly. They are also easily removable.

If anyone organizes another group buy I am looking for a second set for my C2.

Thanks.
