I don't think the owner thought it would sell this fast so he would have more time to say 'goodbye' ... he is going through an emotional rollercoaster right now. Said his stomach was in knots after the pulled the trigger on the deal. We tried to warn him!

Hi all, thanks for the kind words, though I would finally jump in. That is my car Harvey had listed. Since I have never posted here Harvey volunteered to post for me.

I really thought it would take awhile to find the "right" buyer for this car. Harvey had suggested putting it here on rennlist first. I really thought it would take more, needless to say I was surprised when it sold first day. I really hate to see it go, but I had a lot of fun building it. Here is the complete list of mods and a couple of closer shots.

1995 993 Coupe
51K Miles
Grand Prix White w/ Black Interior
Factory RS Body Kit
Factory RS Supercup Wheels (the real deal)
PSS 9 Suspension Kit
RS Sway Bars
GT3 Seats
RS Shift ****
DAS Sport Roll Bar
Harnesses
Rear Hoop holes filled in
Recently installed Euro Front Bumper
Turbo Brakes
LW Flywheel
Factory Limited Slip diff
GHL Sport Mufflers
Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Hi all. Well, I'm the new buyer, and as a buddy of mine likes to say, am as giddy as a young school girl (teehee). :-)

I've never owned a Porsche before. I did lots of research though and when this car popped up, I jumped on it. Has everything I was looking for (except the riviera blue color). However, the white looks so good, I don't even care. And even though we haven't completed the transaction, Jeff, the current owner, has been a pleasure to deal with.

PPI should be completed next week and I'll then fly from San Diego to Charlotte. I'll put some major miles on as I drive 'er all the way home (can't believe I'm doing that!). :-) I guess I'll get a pretty good feel for it on that trip, although I'm a little concerned about being in the GT3 seats for that distance. I guess that's what rest stops are for.

Anyway, I'm happy to soon be a 911 owner and will likely be on the forum pretty regularly.

Shannon

Agreed....the rims alone are worth $4-5k. Hate to say it...but I think some serious money was left on the table here.

Shannon----treasure this car. It's a winner.
(if you decide to alter out the rims...let me know--I want them)

Looks like you got a great car Shannon. Congratulations and enjoy that cross country drive. Sounds like a once in a life time experience that requires lots of pictures to post for your new Rennlist friends.

You won't have any issues with the GT3 seats across country ... once you get in them they are more comfortable than the stock seats.
