Another 9-11. The "old guys" call it that because you fly it by pushing buttons and the one you need the most is the phone number to someone that knows the what in "What's it doing now?"

Is World Airways really some kind of airline company? They are often used to move us in and out of the Mid-East in more comfort than say a C-130 I thought it was just a plane the DoD slapped some paint on and called "chartered"

WA does charter work now..Houston Express to Angola is one I frequent.
Jeff - that one photo on approach is too good...must have invented the definition of box canyon for that airport.
got my license at 17 (that was about a hundred years ago), have about 200 hours, not current...

During that flight I also flew up to Aspen ...
...and then over to Leadville, which is the highest airport in North America (9,927ft). Pattern altitude is 11,000 ft.
* sorry, but I like to share pictures.

World does charters. Lots of AMC stuff and the Houston/Angola. We have been flying the Jacksonville Jaguars around for a few years during football season. We do a lot of cargo also.
Slider,
Why do you go to Angola? I used to fly that trip a bunch when I was an FO.

Next you should try the Marble, CO airport. It's just a grass field and a wind sock and a nice canyon.
