We will be taking our first road trip in our new 96 993 in a couple of weeks. It will be about 1,000 miles round trip down to Amelia Island, FL. In the past we have always carried an emergency repair kit for our older 911s. This would include tools, relays, and parts that could strand the car but be replaced with reasonable effort.
Is the something most of you do with your 993s? What do you carry with you on a road trip?
I carry an extra set of belts in case of emergency, but that's about it. I recently drove my "new" '95 1150 miles home from Arizona to Texas without incident. What a fantastic road eater!
Enjoy your trip!

I recommend you do a search. We kinda covered this topic a while back on 'what spares do you have in your trunk/glovebox' etc.
You'll find such things as a spare DME relay, a fire-extinguisher, 'emergency fan belt' (the type that clips together), spare FOB batteries, making sure that your lug-nut key is correct, etc. etc. etc.
Know Porsche dealerships, independents along the way, and get AAA plus. May want to also have reflective yellow jacket/vest if need to pull on the side.
