Guys Independent in San Luis Obispo, CA arranged to have a tint shop come over and put a sheet of tint on the exterior of my new windshield (My 3rd in 2 years). I have been to the track twice with this arrangement...it is incredible. I have seen rocks hit the screen and fly off, no chips..I have a few abrasions from the rocks...but not all the usual pitting I would see after just a few track days...several of out tracks are in the High Desert, lots of fine sand flying around.

 

I tested a 7 layer peel-off system that was developed for the Nascar boys. I tracked with it once and felt much more protected from the small chips and dings. Optically clear and patented system without distortion. Cool stuff indeed!
