You have a good eye! Yes, it's an old FJ. A mutual friend of ours bought it, fixed it up, and is now looking to sell it.

FJ-40s.

Is that another 993 coming through the wall?

I've always loved those old FJ's. When restored they bring all the money. Did your friend uses Cool Cruisers of Texas? Just wondering since you hail from Texas. My parents have a ranch in Boerne, TX in the Hill Country outside San Antonio.

The 993 coming through the wall is the old nose off of my car. I donated it to decorate the "Garage Mahal".

I think he got most of his parts from Spectra (sp?) Off Road. Love the Hill Country, though I usually only get as far south as Austin.

Nice looking car Brent. Sorry to hear of your early problems and hope you get it sorted out soon. That is a heck of a lift by the way. I now have lift envy.

Default High mileage back on the road

GREAT NEWS !!! I placed the in-take back into place, dried out the Dist. caps cleaned Rotors and ordered parts from Vertex. Turned the key and the engine came to a mighty ROAR. Thanks for the support. I think Iam ready to pull the engine.
